In the first half of the Twentieth Century, during the Bolshevik Revolution, and the years following, millions of Russian Orthodox Christians were martyred for their Faith. Many of their lives are chronicled in the excellent book called “Russia’s Catacomb Saints”. This book is no longer in print, but it can be found online in its entirety many places.
